We have had such a year and plenty to be thankful for. God has blessed us with a growing family, progress on our farmhouse, and a family I wouldn't trade anything for. It's amazing how life's journeys can lead you in so many paths, but it never seems to fail to put you on the right one you were destined to be on.
Growing family? Yes!! Sadie Mae Sollenberger will make her arrival in mid April. We couldn't be more excited....and maybe a little scared. Haha. If she's as fierce as Hallie, watch out! I grew up with my 2 sisters and I. I'm sure my dad thought it was unbearable with all those hormones, but he loved us all the same. We hunted, fished, farmed, and did all that stuff a son would do....maybe even better! I do feel Corbin will be spending a little more time at the farm with daddy to escape us girls, though. Can I come, too!? Haha As Hallie cuddles up asleep on my lap this morning, how much better can it get?
Farmhouse. It's actually looking like a house! We have some drywall, heat, and painting started! We hope to be in by summer! 🤞
Goats. We've had 3 kids so far this year. Waiting on one more nanny to have and then a break until the next round. We did purchase a new Billy, Newman. He came from Arnold's Time Well Spent Boer Goats. Such a wonderful couple with a very impressive goat herd. We hope Newman gives us that definition in the body like we are hoping for.
I hope you and yours have had a wonderful year and a blessed holiday. We sure have. Even in the storms, God has provided. Without Him, this all would be nothing. I thank Him everyday for this beautiful family and farm life we enjoy so much!
